Amazing House in the Middle of a Slope
Here is another mountain retreat house which is designed by dRN Architects. Built on 140 square meters area, this house is located in the middle of a slope of Farellones, Las Condes, Chile. Surround this house you could find several trees and wonderful view of the mountains. The house level is 7, 5 meters below the road and it has a cool wood and steel bridge as an access. The first level of the house has a strong construction with only several windows in wooden frame. Black stone is dominated the lower level exterior. The upper level is designed with more glass windows and you could admire the beauty of nature from this level. Four small bedrooms is located in the first floor, the second floor is used for public areas such as dining room, living room, kitchen and so on. The third floor is connected to the access area and is big enough to store mountain sport equipment. Plywood cladding is covered the whole interior to create a warm feeling since the house is situated on 2000 meters high.
