Wonderful Japanese House Design
Finished by Japan-based architecture firm, Edward Suzuki Associates, this modern house is located in a very harsh environment. The EDDI’s House is designed to emphasized the interior décor rather than connect the in and outdoor, because of unsupportive surrounding area. The architect said that the house’s concept is “Go in to go out”. This idea is presented by adding an indoor patio in the center of the house and a balcony that is overlooking to the courtyard. With this kind of design, the house is not fully closed to the outdoor but could well manage the connection. Almost all rooms inside the house have a direct access to the center patio. It makes the house feel so spacious, bright, airy and comfortable, although in fact it is isolated from the outside.
